Well, from my experience with my wife and I running a women-friendly adult store and also running a home party company, we carried a smattering of porn and what really surprised me was that we put a lot of time into lining up some 'women-friendly' titles only to find out that they were kinda' slow movers.

Most women wanted the full-on stuff and quite a few of them said to skip the bad acting and silly plot lines and get to the sexin'. They really were more interested in attractive people with some chemistry than they were about whether the story had a nice set up to the sex.

So I'd A)definitely agree that women are into porn. And B) challenge the idea that women only want story lines and romance, because that wasn't what we found to be the case. At least in our experience.
