Women create and consume more sexual content than a news rack of magazines could ever hope to circulate. And, that's a good thing. The sad demise of Playgirl may not be so much tie to imagery and content, as it is to overall weakening of print publications. Aggregation of readership and selling that to advertisers, may in fact be a dead business model for the ink on deadwood folk.. For instance, Newspaper advertising is falling so fast, with overhead rising in the double digits, than many 'big name' newspapers, will be bankrupt within two years.
